Renowned architect Moshe Safdie drew inspiration from the surrounding area to create the image of powerful sails in the design of InterContinental Chongqing Raffles City, China.
The sailing theme continues into the reception, where CL3 developed the interior with elements including a reception desk and lighting fixtures designed to look like the hull of a ship.
In the guest rooms, CL3 drew inspiration from yacht staterooms using beige and cream colours, which the studio paired with pale wood to create the final effect.
Guests can stay in one of 380 luxury rooms and suites from the 44th to 65th floor that offer panoramic views and floor-to-ceiling windows.
For hoteliers looking to increase the number of touch-free technologies in their hotels, QR codes can be a very simple way to reduce contact points and boost digital credentials.
These small additions to the décor can be used throughout the hotel, from the guest room to the restaurant, and ultimately can make the entire guest experience easier to navigate.
In addition to the treatment rooms, Vitalé Café Bar has also received a £340,000 investment to give it a complete transformation.
